What type of internet switches are ideal to be used withthis product?
To ensure the best performance of HDMIIPPRO, a managed gigabit switch with IGMP (Internet group management protocol) snooping function is recommanded for many to many applications. In settings, make sure the IGMP is set to ON, and VLAN is set to OFF.

In setting, depends on the managed switch, make sure the IGMP is set to enabled, refer to the image below.

Note: HDMIIPPRO has been tested working stably with 24 × Transmitters & 24 + Receivers application on Cisco 300 series IGMP switch, some customers are using TLSG2424 Tplinkfor 7 × Transmitters + 7 × Receivers.
My Foxtel IQ2 IR remote control only works very short distance.
IR signal is affected by lots of things. Few things to check, the location of the IR emitter was put on the Foxtel, still not improved, you can try the IR emitter shield. HDMIPPRO unit has been tested fine with 4.5m range of the remote control. You can also try this IR emitter shield:

I can't get IR to work with Foxtel
There are two types of IR receivers that come in the box. Make sure you use the rectangular shaped one, as shown in the following image.
Does this unit work with the new Foxtel iQ3?
Yes. Just make sure your IR emitter is placed in the correct location. See the image below.

How to Playback using VLC player software?
Please note VLC cannot playback videos covered by HDCP.
Note: If you are using multiple transmitters to multiple receivers, you MUST change every TX and RX to unique IP addresses, in some cases, you may can still get the video stream, but not IR.
