Operation:
Dimmer/switch packs are mainly used for lamp based par cans, Damage may occur if connected to a unit with an electronic (switch mode) power supply. The DMXDIM4LED allows you switch on & off loads with electronic (switch mode) power supplies such as Laser and LED fixtures. BEFORE this can be done you must ensure there are no devices connected to the dimmers outputs and put the fixture into “switch” mode.

Changing between “Dimmer” mode and “Switch” mode:
A. Make sure there are no fixtures connected to the output channels, if there are please disconnect these fixtures.
B. Turn on the DMXDIM4LED.
C. Press the “mode” button until “A001-A512” appears
D. Press the “menu” button until “S1**”, “S2**”, “S3**”, “S4**” appears
E. You can now use the “up” and “down” buttons and select either “oN” or “oF”. When “On” is selected, the particular channel will be in “Switch” mode. “Of” will set the channel on “dimmer” mode
F. Repeat steps 1-5 for the rest of the channels.
- Select DMX mode. Also it can run in 3 different channel modes. Press MODE button to switch between
“DMX Mode” and “Standalone Mode”.
Choose the DMX starting address. Press MODE button until the display shows “AXXX ”, then you can
choose “XXX” from 001 to 512 by press UP or DOWN buttons.
Choose the DMX channel mode. Press MENU button until the display shows “CH:XX ”, then you can choose “XX” from 01 to 04 by press UP or DOWN buttons.
On CH:01 mode, DMX channel 1 will control 4 output together.
On CH:02 mode, DMX channel 1 will control output 1 and 2 together. DMX channel 2 will control output 3 and 4 together.
On CH:04 mode, DMX channel 1 will control output 1, channel 2 will control output 2, channel 3 will control output 3 and channel 4 will control output 4.
- Select Standalone mode. There are 16 chase programs that a user can select.
Choose the program. Press MODE button until the display shows “P:XX ”, then you can choose desired program “XX” from 01 to 16 by press UP or DOWN buttons. After you have selected the desired program you can then adjust the speed and intensity as required.
Choose the speed. Press MENU button until the display shows “SPXX ”, then you can choose the desired speed “XX” from 01 to 99 by press UP or DOWN buttons.
Choose the intensity. Press MENU button until the display shows “DXXX ”, then you can choose “XX” from 000 to 100 by press UP or DOWN buttons.
